Description
The Annular Solar Eclipse of 2023 as seen from Southern Oregon on Oct 14th, 2023.
I had planned this shot about 7 months in advance. I knew my chances of clear skies on the Oregon Coast wouldn't be great but we arrived and waited. I didn't get to see it when it was at full eclipse but as the clouds begin to thin, we were witness to this scene unfold in front of us.
The Coquille River Lighthouse made for a great foreground to compliment the eclipse.
