The Standoff between and old church and progressing storm which soon turned into a tornado. Being this close to the massive system made this the last photo I could take before I had to leave the area. Winds were extreme to where I could not keep my camera in the tripod any longer. I could not hold the camera still even in my hands due to the winds and how fast my blood was pumping from what I was seeing. The tornado did touchdown just behind where the church is in this photo and I found out a week later that the church did not take a direct hit and was still standing. I was amazed to hear that given how strong the winds were.
