A historic image of Metlako Falls in the Columbia River Gorge of Oregon before the fires. This view is now no longer available because the hillside where the flowers are in this image has slid down into the creek below. I take photographs for several reasons and one of those reasons is to capture moments as they were. Our natural landscape is always changing and it's moments like this that I live for.
